October is Housing America Month!
Tell us what home means to you and your family and have a
chance at winning some AWESOME prizes!
The Kansas Chapter of the National Association of Housing and
Redevelopment Officials (NAHRO) is a statewide organization
dedicated to leadership and advocacy in the affordable housing
industry.  The Manhattan Housing Authority is a member of
Kansas NAHRO and is therefore participating in the national
Housing America campaign!

The Manhattan Housing Authority will receive posters and
narratives from participants of the Public Housing and Section 8
Housing Choice Voucher programs; winners of each category will
receive a $50 cash prize at the September 15, 2010 Board Meeting.  
The winner of each category will also be forwarded on to the Kansas
Chapter NAHRO for the statewide judging.  State winners will be
forwarded to National NAHRO for a chance to win the
GRAND PRIZE, which includes:
A $500 Savings Bond
Their poster on the cover of a 2011 calendar AND
A trip to Washington, D.C. during the 2011 Legislative Conference!
