| The project has been moving along, and below is an update on progress since the last report: 1) The clubhouse is scheduled for punch list on 10/10/06; it is anticipated a Temporary Certificate of Occupancy will be issued on that date. The items left to complete before then are: 1) install cabinets, toilets and vanities & sinks in restrooms; install sink in kitchenette; install ceramic tile and carpeting; paint on exterior; complete doors and windows. 2) Building #1 is scheduled for punch list on October 16; it is anticipated a Temporary Certificate of Occupancy can be issued on that date, and a model unit can be assembled. Items to complete are carpeting, 25% of finish plumbing, 15% of cabinets, some exterior painting, touch-up interior painting, install dishwashers, stoves, refrigerators, laundry equipment. 3) Buildings #2 and #3 are scheduled for punch list on October 17. Items to complete are the same as building #1. 4) The contractor anticipates a November 1st move in date, provided no unforeseen circumstances occur that would cause scheduling delays. 5) A top coat of asphalt will be poured after the landscaping is done. 6) Rothwell Landscaping will be doing the landscaping; the landscaping work will carry over into Spring of 2007. Temporary groundcover will be placed where the plans call for flowerbeds until Spring. 7) The addresses of the units will be as follows: Clubhouse – 1400 Flint Hills Building #1 – 1415 Flint Hills Building #2 – 1425 Flint Hills Building #3 – 1420 Flint Hills The apartments will be numbered 101, 102, 103, and so on for first floor, 201, 202, 203 and so on for second floor, and 301, 302, 303 and so on for third floor. (So a typical address would be 1415 Flint Hills, Apt. #102, for example). 81 applications have been received to date. |
