MICHAEL WILHOITE, FACILITIES SUPERVISOR
The Facilities Supervisor contributes to the
overall mission of the Public Housing Division
by being a lead person to the maintenance
crew, supervising and relaying work details to
his crew and participates with the crew to
upgrade and maintain the existing Housing
Authority structures and property, and
provides safety training to his crew relating to
the use and care of materials and equipment
used in job performance.
Michael has been with the Housing Authority
for over 30 years in many different capacities.

In 1993 Michael received the Maintenance
Management Certification.
  
2006 Maintenance Activities
Maintenance painted all car port areas and two buildings at Hudson Circle.

Services were procured for new kitchen cabinets, countertops, refrigerators, and ranges in 19 units
at Baehr Place. Work will be completed in 2007.

Aluminum store front doors, concrete sidewalk, asphalt parking overlay, and new exterior handrails
were installed at Carlson Plaza.

A change order was made to upgrade specifications to require all appliances to be energy star
efficient.

All bedrooms at Flint Hills Place received hard wire electric smoke detectors.

The compressor in the AC Condensing unit at Carlson Plaza was replaced.
