The Housing Inspector is responsible for Initial,
Annual and Special inspections for the Section
8 Housing Choice Voucher program, as well as
completing inspections for the Public Housing
and LIHTC programs. This position ensures
that all assisted units meet Housing Quality
Standards (HQS) and local codes that may
apply.
The Housing Inspector also administers the
TBRA Security and Utility deposit assistance
program, which is funded by the Kansas
Housing Resources Corporation.
Shauna also contributes to the efficiency of the
Section 8 HCV program by providing clerical
support to the Section 8 Coordinator. Shauna
has been with the Housing Authority since 2009.
