MANHATTAN HOUSING AUTHORITY APPLICATION PROCESS

To receive a program application, you may do one of the following: 1. Call (785) 776-8588 to receive an application by mail. 2. Pick up an application at 300 North 5th Street - Manhattan, Kansas. 3. Use the links below to print an application for the program(s) you wish to apply for. Completed applications can be dropped off at the Manhattan Housing Authority Administrative Office at 300 N 5th Street - Manhattan, or mailed to:  Manhattan Housing Authority P.O. Box 1024 Manhattan, KS 66505 Please note that all of Manhattan Housing Authority's programs require separate applications!  Please carefully review the cover page information of each application to determine which documents are required to be provided with your application.   You may apply for multiple programs at the same time (i.e., you may be on both the Section 8 and Public Housing waiting lists). It is very important to notify the Housing Authority in writing of any address changes that happen while you are on the waiting list.  You will be notified by mail when your name is approaching the top of a waiting list.  If any correspondence sent to you by the Housing Authority is returned to us by the Post Office, your name will be removed from the waiting list and you will have to reapply!
