SCOPE OF WORK REQUIRING PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING SERVICES:
The Manhattan Housing Authority is seeking to replace existing Bathrooms in all buildings at Pottawatomie Court and Hudson Circle. The existing bathrooms need replacement due to normal wear and tear.
The Manhattan Housing Authority is accepting competitive proposals for Engineering Services for improvements on existing developments described as follows:
The Scope of Work may be reduced in the event prices for work exceed available funds and it would not be appropriate to adjust quantities to come within available funds.
PROFESSIONAL SERVICES REQUIRED
- Development of bid documents
- Preparation of construction documents, cost estimates and evaluation of construction bids.
- Review and approve contractor pay requests
- Davis-Bacon Wage Rate Payroll and Compliance Reports
- Perform general inspection of construction.
- Review of contract modifications (change orders)
- Certification that construction is being performed in accordance with the construction contract
- Participation in joint and final inspections
The Architectural Firm shall design the projects to meet the appropriate City, State and Federal property standards.
The deadline for submission of proposals is May 1st 2023 or until contract is filled by MHA
The Manhattan Housing Authority reserves the right to reject any or all proposals at their discretion.
